I'm thinking about quiting Final fantasy XI, or maybe i'll just take a break, still thinking about it. Its starting to stress me out a little. I'm in an HNMLS and a Dynamis LS and it is pretty fun but there are a few stressors. For one thing all the events are starting to wear me down. With sky, sea, and dynamis i hardly have time to lvl other

Well i just beat cop so i get my ring tomorrow. hmm 75 a lot of gear for different setups. My main is ranger. i use

franny and hawker +1 with Obow and Sbow
relic hat, war beret +1 and wyvern helm
rng necky
victory/triumph ring, 2 behemoth rings
af body
genin earring
triumph earring
deadeye gloves or relic hands (really need a hand upgrade)
war brais +1 or hunter braccae
rse feet, war boots, suzaku sune-ate
rk belt, jungle sash

working on sam sub when i get that done and have some moolah will try to go rng/sam with vulcan/axe grip. that should be fun ^^

That's one reason I'm so glad I skipped all the HNM stuff. See here's the rub: you only need all that fancy gear to... kill HNMs for more fancy gear! But you can _already_ kill those HNMs so what's the point? All that work lets you... take down Tiamat a bit faster, or with a few less people.

True, I'm not so elite either, but all the stuff I've done on my own or with a few friends has been a blast and I'm still good enough and well enough equipped to get things done.

I want to solo Kreutzet, soon.

And as far as the 2h update goes - nope not broken. Much better now. 2h should do more damage than 1h or dual-wielders, because they make up for the small difference in damage potential with their huge damage mitigation advantage.

Salvage tonight, still a blast. :D

i'm a little biased and still a little irritated that they didn't include rng in that update except for one weapon skill. We are at a disadvantage now imo.
maybe its not broken just such a change from the way things used to be.
