So, occasionally (as it is right now) someone runs a report on our database. When they run this report, it sucks up all the resources of the database and makes it so that I, in effect, can't work. So, time for an update ( Read more... )

I know what you mean about the not sinking in thing-- it did a bit when I mailed out the invitations, but I'm still wondering when it's going to hit me for good.

God I really wish I could be there. I become ridiculously sad and mope a lot every time I think about it or someone mentions it. I’m glad to hear it’s all coming together, though. I’ve no doubt it will be fantastic…though only slightly less with out me.

Come visit us in Mt. Pleasant. Who needs a job? Not you.
