Thanks to Djrobo13, I'll retract all this stuff...

1. Turns out they do work on planes. I guess the proof the website had was some study done by another 9/11....nut....job....person. The other sites I looked at certainly said they're usable, many were doing stories about how airlines are considering allowing them now, despite federal law prohibiting their use (many mention how you could 'always use a cell phone on a private jet').

2. The 'oh duh' point that was made on this one is that the names may have been appropriated so that people could enter the country illegally. The fact that the people named that way doesn't mean someone using that name couldn't have gained entry to the US. Wouldn't have been easy; visa officers generally seem to know their stuff. Still, I'm sure it happens.

I am glad to hear that Dan. This entire idea is really so propostorous that it makes me angry when someone even brings it up.

Obviously it wasn't planes that crashed in to the towers, but rather missiles designed to LOOK like planes. Mystery solved.
