Long holiday post thingy.
I hate being sick.
But I loved every minute I got to spend with Natasha, Sterling, and Drew this week.
I got to revisit the Marine Science Museum!
So when I first got to the aquarium I went with Natasha to her community service table thingy and then went off to explore the plentiful fish tanks and came upon these things:
They were a lot uglier in person.
There was an army of children running around so I went to the only thing I could find without the little buggers running around and found the jellyfish who were pretty because neon lights lit them up.
Oooh.
Aaah.
I went by the shark tank but couldn't take any pictures because there were a thousand kids with their noses jammed up against the glass with their huge heads and I couldn't take any photos. So I went to the ignored sea turtles. They came right up to the glass and I found one that I named Larry.
He was awesome and he waved to me.
There was a lobster too I dubbed Bobster. He was pretty chill.
This guy was there too.
As was this puffer fish.
Then I took a nice 1/3 mile travel to the other building via the nature trail. It would've been a good idea if it wasn't NASTY AND DAMP OUTSIDE.
The otters were pretty cool though. I also saw a little girl fall off a railing she was climbing on and I laughed. Then this fat guy who looked like Hitler walked past me and I had to contain my "OMGWTF"ness.
They had more fish over there too. This lookdown fish was pretty boss.
Snapping turtles always look so disgruntled.
This ugly sucker was there too but I named him Leon.
Treefrogs on a log.
And I saw a rat too. It was cute.
Thus ended my visit.
But I saw Fun With Dick & Jane last night with Sterling and Natasha's mom and Sterling fell asleep in the car on the way back from the movie. I had to take a picture, but he woke up right as I was taking it and the flash blinded him. Ahem.
He's cute either way.
Later my foot attacked his head.
Then he stole my glasses and started to play drums.
Our band Angry Life recruited Sterling for drums because he just started messing around on the drums and he's surpringsly good. We got Matt to play guitar too. So hooray for having a full band.
On the break Natasha and I saw her friend Zach play, he was good and acousticy. He used really nice imagery and his songs made me smile.
I got some stuff for Christmas, but my favorite presents are the shirts Natasha made me and this radio hook-up thing I got for my ipod.
My sister also sent some baked goods which is very nice.
After Christmas break is over I'm going on a healthier diet because I've eaten so many Christmas cookies I could just aboout die.
Oh, I got my hair cut so now it's shorter and I'm not spiking it anymore because it's just too much time out of my morning that I could use for sleeping. I'm so lazy. Haha.
