John bought me a diamond ring for Christmas when I was pregnant with Daphne. It was one of the best gifts I've ever recieved cuz we'd been married four years!

Ours is my second marriage, and it was one of those intense, whirlwind romances that I grew up being warned against, the kind that "could never work" because the romance came before the friendship - but the friendship came soon after, we've been together for 6-1/2 years and married for 3-1/2 years, and it really does keep on getting better and better. When marriages really work, they make everything else in life so much better!

Goes to show that no one else can tell a person what can and cannot work when it comes to love.

I have to laugh when people assume that everyone must love the same way, court the same way etc....or it will 'never work' because isn't every person an individual? And doesn't that mean the every relationship will be different?
