When I was a teenager, pimples were the bane of my existence. Everyone told me that they would go away when I got older, that pimples were a curse that ended with one’s teen years and that once I turned twenty, I’d have smooth flawless skin. I finished my first round of revisions today on this new Y/A novel and I am so excited about it I can’t stop grinning like an idiot. I know this book will still need a lot more work, but that doesn’t change the fact that today, I completed the first round of revisions on a novel I love. I did my very best and that’s a feeling I dig. A lot.

Strawberry Bush hasn’t been feeling well for a few days and last night, he kept us up with a severe case of diarrhea.
