I tend not to talk about my ex, except in vague terms, and I try very hard not to be negative. I'm pretty sure that dating someone with completely opposite tastes in style and music from my own would be a deal breaker. That stuff (especially the music and live shows) is way more important to me than maybe it should be. But it is what it is: Perfect. ;)

It IS perfect. I'd even let you borrow my Ramones concert T-shirt, purchased at a Ramones show in the 80s and not at Hot Topic in 2007.

I LOVE the Ramones. Which reminds me, I need to see if Rock 'n' Roll High School is on DVD...and speaking of which, they're releasing Daria on DVD soon. I've been meaning to tell you.

Rock n' Roll High School, was part of my introduction to The Ramones and punk rock. It also fueled my undying love of Mary Waronov and, to a slightly lesser extent, Paul Bartel.

To this day, my favorite fake excuse for missing something is to call someone saying, "I've been in a terrible two-car automobile accident and have to be rushed to the hospital for immediate blood transfusions! See you tomorrow!"

Awesome. Bad. Movie.
