It really hurts to lose friends for absolutely no reason. It's also kinda sad but after all these years for those same friends to not understand my life and the way things go

I don't know much about the drama thats going on in your neck of the woods but I offer you my deepest sympathies. I have been there. Its like getting your heart ripped out. The pain goes away. The bitterness and resentment is a little harder to lose, but it fades.
I just heard something through the grape vine like...last night about this. Nothing malicious or anything, just about the changing of names, etc...but I was slightly shocked. It's going to be strange going to Rocky in MD...er...VA and not seeing ya there. Again, I have no idea what happened, seeing as I'm waaaay out of the loop, but I'm sorry.
As someone who has now experienced this twice, I can agree with Larry on this one. It hurts badly at first, then slowly disappears. I know when Newark happened I felt like someone kicked me in the stomach. The bitterness and resentment will take much longer to leave. One of my biggest failures is my inability to forgive. I have found the best analogue is found in Jesus Christ Superstar with "The end...Is just a little harder when brought about by friends." In the short term you focus on something else, in my case school and other hobbies. When in need of a Rocky fix you can go to other shows. I spent two weekends ago in Bowling Green Ohio for their Rocky show. In the longterm you have to make the decision as to whether you wish to let go and move on or hang on to your anger. I do not know where I am on this scale. I am there for you if you need to talk. You know when we come back to the area we will be visiting people like you and lisa, J&K, jordan, kristen, arthur etc. Hang in there, there are those who still love you!

Damn, I gotta get out of this depression. I didn't think it would hurt this much. Yea, it does feel like my heart has been ripped out.
