The first year I joined FDO, *cast* did the casting for Halloween and we had a seperate "Audience Appreciation Night" where the audience chose the casting beforehand in September

Audience appreciation nights are fine and actually I think it's a good idea especially for the regulars.
One of the BIG things that needs to happen is a sit down meeting (not after a show or a family night) with EVERYONE on cast, full and part time and work on the rules. The cast has too many chiefs and I think that's the biggest problem. I have tons of ideas but I've been afraid to bring them up, cuz the last time I was shot down, in a big way.
There are some great performers on this cast but some of the attitudes need to change.
I thought the Halloween show was great. The audience did pick the better performers for each part. I haven't been in cast long, but it's obvious who the better performers are.
I actually update this thingie! Wow, I get to perform with Jeffie last weekend and now he updates his LJ, too! It's like a Jeffiepalooza here!! (Since I was playing Irwin Lapsey, Jeffie - as Cosmo - was the only character I has any interaction with … he takes the car keys from me and sends me back offstage.) I usually only update about Rocky stuff, cuz really that's why I created this thing in the first place. However, I do read other folks journals just so I can keep up on their lives too. So, that makes it cool. It's hard to keep up with a lot of people these days, so most of the people I'm keeping up with (and vice versa) are here. And yes, I know that you're still reading LJ even when you're not posting, because you always reply to me when I post something Oz-related in my LJ. That's how I check to see if you're still alive, by posting Jeffie-bait Oz cartoons! ;) In fact, HERE's an Oz cartoon for you right now! So, I started attending the shows up in DE again. I started up there in 2000 when Glenn (now Will) was in charge, but left

Also glad you seem to be moving in a happier direction.
The pictures from Ohio were hysterical. :)
