Interesting. I wrote a drabble about Hermione's pregnancy, too- Except it was during, not after. It's under the prompt for "Anger."

"The expression in her face, the depth of her slumber showed she was drained."

Makes sense when speaking, but is the comma is not grammatically correct in writing. May I suggest " and" instead of ", the"?
