YAY!We're ready and (have been) waiting! Can't wait to see the first new episode of whichever show can get production up and running the quickest

Yay! I wonder what this means for Pushing Daisies since it's a dramedy? Oh well, as long as I get to see that House two parter that was supposed to be after the Super Bowl I'm happy (okay I won't actually be happy if it furthers House/Cameron).
Last I heard "House" was one of the up-in-the-air shows (as far as whether we'll see any new eps soon or in Sept.) There's a possibility that many shows may scrap ideas they had planned in this shortened season but you don't have to worry about the direction of the two-parter, should they follow through on it. It's the total opposite (though to be honest, *I'm* hoping they don't go there. We'll see).
Since Pushing Daises was a new show this year, it may be saved until the fall but don't quote me because everyone was saying different things this morning. I don't watch the show so I don't know if they had a few already-filmed eps that they were waiting to air.
Bottom line though - I'm SO glad it's all over (save the little technicality of needing to officially ratify it by the end of Feb.) :D :D
Even as a non-tv watcher I am pretty happy for it being over too. Mostly because my wife is happy, which means she will stop taking it out on me :D And even more importantly a number of people I know will be able to get back to work.......it really is astonishing how much the "industry" affects so much of our local economy.

Lol but I can imagine your relief. ;) I didn't realize you knew some people directly affected but being where you live, that shouldn't really be a surprise, right. I'm happy for all those going back to work too.
One B-i-L (the jewish one ;) ) is the top guy at CNBC west coast, but that's an anomaly I grant you. Seriously, you are right, out here it is unusual NOT to know anyone who wasn't affected. With virtually no more aero-space industry, you are either connected to the entertainment business or are a lawyer, or both. (did you know that in So Cal there is one lawyer for aprox every 7 people.....not sure if that includes illegals or not)
By the by, I think I have your cold this winter, and I don't appreciate it, but hopefully you don't have it too :D.
