Well, I saw episode 2x01, and I simply couldn't wait for the rest of it. So over the past week and a half, I've been making my way through season 2. I just finished the Christmas episode about 20 minutes ago, and I haven't stopped smiling! Matthew/Mary love so very much.
(I think I was in shock that it was actually happening and we didn't have to go through Mary going to NY and another season of she and Matthew keeping arms length with one another.)No surprise, but I felt exactly the same way as I was watching the scene the first time. Then I watched it two more times just because I could relax and know they were finally going to have their chance together with NO interruptions! LOL. The whole scene was gorgeous, from the lightly falling snow, to Mary's beautiful burgundy dress, and their expressions, and their body language...perfect

YAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYYYY! I'm SO happy you're all caught up. Was so worried about you getting spoiled!! Also, I'm sorry! I was supposed to send you that CD. Oy, had I had time to transfer the eps to a CD/DVD, I would never have time to go to the post office to actually mail it. (Or it would take until PBS finishes airing the season, lol

Oh no worries about the CD - I'd actually forgotten about that. Lol. And I was very good about avoiding spoilers. I only knew about this post because I saw you mention it to Rose about commenting here when she'd finished watching. So of course the first place I went (after watching the ending about three times) was right here! But omg that scene is utter perfection. I love it

Glad you avoided spoilers. I didn't think the proposal was coming even half way through the last episode. It would have sucked to have been spoiled. Having that magical moment, lost.
It will be interesting to see what they can attempt to prove back in that time period. I really hope they start right where they left off then jump.
I just watched Dan's S&S this weekend and LOVED IT better than the other one even though the '95 one has all the great stars. I think the supposed vs real ages of those stars throws me off and makes the relationships harder to accept, no matter how much I like them in general.
Yes, I'll definitely be having multiple marathon sessions between now and September! Yeah, it's been over 500 days. (Saw a post somewhere on Tumblr.) You mean you're NOT caught up with MM? You certainly have time since it doesn't air until March 25.
