Thanks to ajodasso for linking me to this - hadn't heard anything, but apparently areas of the internet have been exploding.

Anyway: Amazon have been crap in a way strongly suggestive of homophobia, or at least bowing to homophobic pressures. They've removed all material relating to homosexuality from their ratings lists and from certain search functions ( Read more... )

I saw this a few days ago and it's stopped me shopping at Amazon, which is probably a good thing for my bank balance.

Still, I'm fully in the disgusted and enraged camp. Homophobic lying fuckers.

Good for you. I'm SO disapointed with them. I've been an amazon customer for years, and I always thought of them as rather ethical. No more.

Yeah, I'd thought of them as OK, or at least on the decent side of commercial, but alas :(

When I saw it, I knew I had to nab it. Beauty and the Beast is for the WIN! (And as of last Christmas I believe I actually have it with me, now!)
