::RhumbaToTs:: I'm coming home

Jan 12, 2006 17:58

I'll be back for the new year. My home leave will be from 22 Jan 06 till 04 Jan 06 (EDIT - It's actually 04 Feb 06). During this time, I will be...

- Going back to Bishan to search for really old friends and eat the best Fried Bee Hoon in Singapore. Darren was a very close friend of mine until I became a freaking staunch Christian then. The best Fried Bee Hoon in Singapore (to me) is a special recipe of breakfast style fried bee hoon which involves lots of garlic and oil and is sold in a Kopitiam in one of the blocks (Blk 126?).

- Going back to my old Church, Yio Chu Kang Chapel to find out if there is anyway that I can go back to being a good Christian. Yio Chu Kang Chapel (evening service) was the Church where I spent most of my Christian life. The ironic thing was that, I learnt the least about Christianity from them, and learnt more about playing the bass and living a happy life from them.

- Sending my old HP iPaq 2210 for parts replacement. The battery cover is totally spoilt

- Going to Sim Lim Square to buy a bluetooth GPS device for my 2210. I have wondered long about how to utilize my 2210 and felt that the best thing to do with it is let my Dad use it as a GPS device.

- Going to Sim Lim Square, to do up a mini computer for my mum. It's time she has her own computer for herself to surf the net on. My poor mum's always afraid to use our comp cause she's afraid to spoil it and cause us to be unable to use it. I'm currently looking at small form factor computers, with the option of making it a TV device at the same time.

- Eating at Fish & Co. Somebody has to franchise Fish & Co to Taiwan! They are lacking of Fish and Chips in the whole freaking country. Grrrr...

- Searching for a legendary acupuncture master. One of my guys tells me of this extremely good and well known Acupuncture Master in Hougang that can heal my weak ankle using acupuncture. Hopefully he is really that good. And this will be the first time I am going for acupuncture.

- Having a fantastic Chinese New Year. A fantastic Singaporean Chinese New Year. Taiwanese Chinese New Year... just doesn't have the mood or atmosphere. I bet that in Singapore, Chinese New Year decorations are already up right? In Taiwan, my camp is probably the only place with Chinese New Year decorations up already man!!!

More will be filled in as I think of what else to do. However, frankly speaking, I don't feel too good about going back to Singapore. I hate the feeling of going back to Singapore, and then coming back to Taiwan again cause I will be having 2 weeks of work piling up/waiting for my follow-up. 10 more days till my home leave. Rushing to clear work now. Stress coming in...
