We found a dead pigeon in one of our Landrovers today. It wasn't just dead, it was practically ripped appart with lots of its body parts missing. Most likely it was a cat who hopped into our landrover for its feasting session ( Read more... )

i remember a friend once cautioned me about asking God for signs. not that it's not okay, but we must be very careful, the whole discerning thing...

Thanks for the verses. I know that it's not God giving a sign. In fact, I do not believe in signs... like you said, because of the discerning factor.

But I just asked more of out of frustration rather than actually wanting to see something. Sometimes, I think I need more re-affirmation from God than from a book. I can't trust 'his words' anymore. Seriously I can't, cause of the the 'discerning' factor too. For example, I can read the two verses which you had given to me in another way which is perfectly correct in another perspective.
