Why is Thinkgeek awesome? Well, they would be more awesome if sell products to Singapore, but at least they do ship their products to Taiwan.
After going through their shipping system, Thinkgeek apparently does not ship to nor accept credit cards from Singapore. Their reason... cases of Credit Card Fraud coming from SG. However they do accept credit card payments from Taiwan and they do ship to Taiwan too. And then, it was realized that ThinkGeek accepts payment via Paypal. I have a paypal account and a Taiwan address. So I went ahead, add some stuffs to my shopping cart and viola! They were happily shipping the stuff across the ocean to Taiwan.
The whole delivery just took 5 freaking days!!! You can view the process via this link (Mr Lee is the guard room personnel who received the package).

The NSFW (Not Safe For Work) shirt was XL and was actually kinda too big for me (will be ordering L next time). I got the red LED badge instead of the blue and it was really cool. It can store up to six different messages. The keychain tool was a little disappointing caused the screw joints seemed a little weak (doesn't hold in place) plus I needed to use a lot of strength to un-screw stuffs. The soldering kit was effective. I used it to repair a Thumbdrive I had, where the soldered joints came off.
So this makes the first successful ThinkGeek transaction that I have. A lot of us will be ganging up together and purchasing the products which we want to buy in order to save on shipping costs (which was quite expensive but worth it). Also, I guess that as long as ThinkGeek does not change their policy on shipping to Singapore, this will be the only time whereby I can get ThinkGeek products. Anybody want me to get them anything?
