And for the other prayer which I had about being able to watch the World Cup in Taiwan, YES!!! They do show World Cup on Taiwanese Television, channel number 38. However, I have never ever encountered this during a live football match.

They so freaking not football crazy... that we overheard a guy explaining to a girl what football is... and she doesn't believe it exists... Wah liao... ultimate insult for football siah... I believe that everybody in Singapore knows what football is right? Even if they don't understand it... they know it exists and what it is...

All they are interested in is Basketball and Baseball... And their Taekwando got Gold in olympics I think...
