I think I want another pet. I've already got a puppy (she's not really a puppy anymore but I can't bring myself to call her a dog) so I'm thinking something that lives in an aquarium. Fish, a snake or a tarantuala are what I've been thinking about the most. Fish are cool to watch, and you can get a few different kinds or even aquatic frogs and all ( Read more... )

I lurve my fish. There are some really nice pumps out there that aren't that loud. Mine sounds like white noise now. Make sure you read some books about aquarium care first (I also count as a book btw) There's a lot involved in set up.

Yeah, I'm gonna try to get to either PJ's or Big Al's, or both this weekend to talk to someone about that stuff, and maybe chat with you too. And I know that we have at least one aquarium book at home.

Big Al's is definitely the best place for stuff. PJ's marks up there stuff alot, Petcetera or PetSmart are better.

Do those other store have the same selection. Pj's always has snakes and tarantula's as well as fish.

Yep, that was with M. Pascal, the snake's name was Mortadelle. I played with that snake so much that they really don't bother me. If I got a tarantula the lid would only be opened to feed the damned thing so I'm nottoo worried about it getting out
