I just realized I failed to comment on this when I first read it. Quite an oversight as I loved it like WHOA! Guh, you just write them all so wonderfully and awesomely, maybe especially Myka. This is so sweet and kinda sexy, which just makes the contrast of knowing what's inevitably coming all the worse. Fluff with secret angst. Like this line:
“All that time...but I hadn’t counted on you, Myka Bering.” She could hear her swallow. “What should I do with you?”

I'm very late on this, but must comment anyway -- what a great story. Fluffy, yes, but set at a heartbreaking time, knowing what we know now. That made it all the more poignant. Lovely!
