Jeffrey Dean Morgan an Emmy nominee? We'll have to wait and see...

According to Grey's Anatomy Insider, Jeffrey Dean Morgan has submitted his name for consideration for a Primetime Emmy Guest Actor nomination.  Usually the actors who win in this categories are "name" actors, so maybe this year he'll be nominated!

Notice how no one has submitted their name for LEAD actor on Grey's?

Whats the big deal with no one from GA going for a lead actor Emmy? They NEVER have. Sandra, Katie, Chandra, TR have only ever been nominated or entered as supporting cast, with Katie being the only win.

GA has one female lead, Pompeo, and yep, she gets put in the lead category, but she has yet to win a nom.

This is nothing new or shocking, its what they have done from day 1 and its nice that their egos are still in check. Hell, Dempsey almost never even enters his name for the Emmys.

Jeff always submits his Denny gigs, and has never won the nom. If he didnt get the nom for season 2, this years work wasnt exactly mind blowing acting. Charming, but Pacino isnt losing sleep.
