Today is January 17th, officially not even half-way through January. We've had 7.3" (about 19cm) of rain in January SO FAR. Our average rainfall is high enough (34"), but we've had almost 1/4 of the year's rain in 17 days

Meanwhile, I'm in the midst of drought conditions. Drink a glass of water for me, will you? But honestly, wow, over seven inches of rain in half a month. I boggle.
