Hello, how lovely to see you! I've been thinking about you lately, wondering if you're okay and what you are up to. What a treat to see you pop up on my flist! ♥

Me in summary - my fandom honeymoon is at an end and now I'm a jaded old crone who can't quite quit it completely (though I am very much scaled back in involvment). I work full-time in a local uni, my boys are growing up (oldest one just turned eleven - off to 'big school' next year, yikes!) and I am doing okay though plagued by a variety of minor health complaints. Oh, and I go out playing music more than I did, whiich is nice :-).

I am off to visit Fingers on Tuesday for new year. we will both raise a glass to your good self, for sure.

Do you do Facebook? I am more active there than here these days, in a kind of just commenting about life sense.

I am writing very, very slowly these days myself, mostly trying to finish an epic and one or two other WIPs which will most likely be my last J&B fics. Time, I have it not! Spent some time this morning flipping through your photoalbums, great photo work as always and I LOVE the sketches!

For reasons I don't entirely understand, I've been listening to a lot of music from the 1920s and 30s - there's something there, I'm not sure what, that feels very applicable.
