Is Vile Spawn still visiting? I always get Vile and Evil spawn's relative ages mixed up because E comes before V in the alphabet and I assume the older one would be E and the older one would be working away from home (though that's probably not true, huh). Next time I call and you don't answer, I'll be like, "Hello, is this Vile or Evil Spawn? Are you the older or younger Spawn?" Did you actually HAVE mistletoe? There's a holly tree in our neighbor's abandoned property. My father said that's mistletoe.

"Vile and evil" rolls off the tongue better for me than "evil and vile." I suppose it's because of the number of syllables, one in vile then two in evil. At any rate, The Vile Spawn, who is always listed first, is the eldest. The Vile Spawn returned to San Diego on January 3rd. We'll probably see him again this summer, though he isn't ready to make any commitments on that yet. The Vile Spawn came home last summer instead of The Evil Spawn flying out to San Diego for a visit and I think they both preferred it that way. As do I ( ... )

I'm confused. Mistletoe is a parasitic vine with ovate, evergreen leaves and greenish, yellowish or white berries that grows on host trees. Holly trees have spiky evergreen leaves and red berries. Is your father maybe pointing to a vine growing in the holly tree?
