These are really pretty. T and I would like to ride bicycles in a place like this. But did the altitude make it hard to breathe?
I like the logs instead of metal railings. I also like the composition of IMG_0025 because you can see the many layers of mountains and I think it's funny there were two white buildings or something symmetrically on both sides of the photo.
Were the pictures all taken around the same time? Was the weather like that all day? Did you have to ride slowly because of the fog? Where did you sleep? Did you have fun? Also, nice motorcycle. :) Do you both ride on one motorcycle?
The highest point in the Ozarks/Ouachitas is Mt. Magazine, which is 2753' above sea level. It barely meets the criteria to be called a mountain. Altitude shouldn't be a problem if you want to ride a bicycle or hike in it. Don't you guys ride through the San Gabriel Mountains? (Congrats on your state's new National Park, BTW!) I think those peaks are quite a bit taller and steeper. Are you thinking about coming out here? That would be cool! The Ozarks are quite beautiful, they don't get the national recognition they deserve
