so my senior project teacher failed me today. it's almost funny. but not 'cause I'm supposed to graduate in 17 days. i'm going to have a talk with her. She plays favorites like no one I've ever seen and for whatever reason she doesn't like me. The thing is, I know my paper wasn't strong, but I don't write freaking F papers. i deserve a C,

I think you should print out five copies of your position paper. Give them to five professors in the communication department, and have them give you a number grade out of 150. Then take the average of those five scores and see if it is anything close to what you got...

I think you will see a drastic difference.

And after you do, take her those scores, with the other professors signatures.

and if you want to be extra sly (ie. completely unbiased) you should take your name completely off your paper, and have someone else circulate it to the faculty. This way there is no way they can have a biased for or against the person.

When you meet with her... I would also ask her if she graded these using a rubric... if she did, get a copy of it. And if she didn't, that could say alot, in favor, of your argument.

I remember one time in my Adv Public Speaking class... Everyone that did their speeches on a Friday got an A, and not a sincle person who went the following Monday made over an 88.

I swear she bases her grades on the calendar of the Zorbotron, the 11th star from the sun. If you happen to turn in your work on the seventh day of the month, when the 11 stars and sun all align to become on forcefield you might, just might, have a chance of getting a good grade.

Her teacher evaluations are going to be SOOOOOO much FUN!!!! WOOO!
