~*Magical*~ abilities and strengths:
Musa is what you call a fairy. She has certain abilities that only she has. In fact Musa is what is known as the fairy of music. Usually her attacks consist of sound waves, beats and music.
Apart from that while at Alfea they also learn other types of magic beyond the one that they know from their own winx.
None magic wise, Musa has been known to be able to play the flute and some other instruments, most likely because of her background and what her parents and world are like.
How would they use their abilities?:
To dance to the beat so to speak. She properly won't use them much anyway unless needed in self defense.
Appearance:
Starting from her hair which is always shown to be in pigtails and blue in colour, her clothes usually consist of usually tomboyish design.
Her appearance comes across off as someone of asian decent, her eyes are also black in colour. In her winx form her clothes change from a sparky pink shirt and skirt as well as pink knee high boots and arm bands at the top of her arms. Her winx are small and blue in colour, showing that they are only training wings since she is only just starting to learn about being a fairy. She also wear headphones on top of her head, which are also pink in colour.

Musa at first sight appears to be your average tomboy type character, but out of all the other winx girls, Musa is in fact the more girlish when it comes to ones emotions. She is considered to be one of the more emotional of the group as she has been through a lot before the canon even started with the death of her mother and all. She usually will try and hide that side in front of others by putting on a more tough front, but when alone it shows that more vulnerable side to herself.
Musa has her love for music, a trait which she gets off her parents as well as the world she had come from 'Melody' and therefore music is a part of her everyday life. If there was no music left in the world, Musa wouldn't be as happy as she shows when she does have it, after all music is part of her life as well as her winx. It can also show that the reason she loved music so much was because her parents were also both in the music business.
Apart from loving her parents, she also adores her friends to the point that she would be willing to help them out at any given situation, be it a simple girls problem, to something as big as helping them save the world. This side to her can even include the guys including Riven, who mainly wouldn't want a girl's help, but she is one of the few who can really deal with Riven's attitude compared to the others, but that could partly be because she likes him.
Even though one of the other winx girls has shown to be the brains of the group it is in fact Musa who gets the best grades, as found out when it was mentioned in one episode. This shows that she does have the brains to be able to do the work, they just aren't used compared to Tecna's when they are trying to figure out solutions to problems.
Lastly Musa likes to spend her times alone at times, usually this is to talk to her mother, which she has a device that projects the image of her so she can talk to it, this can also show how much she loves her mother and misses her as well and enjoys having a one sided talk with her when she can, which is usually when she just needs to let it out.
Background
The story begins at the school called Alfea, school of fairies. Musa being a fairy had come to the school after her mother died when she was very young and her father sent her here hoping that well, she wouldn't spend so much time on music. Upon arriving at the school she met Stella, Techa, her roommate, Flora and Bloom, who at the time was going under a different name. For the first day they had gone to the town of Magix to have some pizza, while there they had come face to face with the Trix, three witches who were named Icy, Darcy and Stormy, who had frozen Bloom after she had gone off to call her parents back home.
They managed to hold their own for the time and was able to get Bloom free, from here it was soon revealed that the name Bloom gave before was in fact false, as revealed by Stella, but Musa still stays friends with Bloom though. The next day is the day of the dance with the boys from Red Fountain. Musa already had her outfit ready and while Bloom wasn't there had gone to the dance with the others. During the dance the Trix had come and changed the presents the guy were meant to change to eggs of swamp rats. Musa with the others managed to change them back to normal and even set a trap for the witches.
Soon afterward they went to a trip to the black mud swamp for a lesson on being able to hear the voice of nature. As part of the class they ended to use that to find the way back, but Musa with the others got sidetracked into helping the red fountain boys to look for a troll that had escaped from the ship. It turned out that the Trix were the ones to free it, therefore they were never able to find it, but they did pass the class with the highest score, even though they were the last to arrive. This was also the time that Musa had started to show interest in one of the specialists Riven. It's also when the Winx Club is first formed.
When Stella had to go on a date, Musa helped her out with the others as afterward it was found out to be a trap from the witches in order for Stella to give up her ring, which to them was important. From here they decide that they will go to the witches school, Cloud Tower and get back the ring that they had taken. While there they were there they had found the ring, only to get lost and under a spell of the Headmistress of the school, but thanks to Bloom they managed to find a way out. When they returned to school they were found and punished by having their powers stripped from them for a week.
When the school goes away for a concert, they were left to clean all of the school by themselves and without their magic. They managed to do this by asking the boys for help as more people would get the job done quicker, then afterward had a party with Musa being the sort of DJ, showing off her moves. That was until a creature attacked the school called a Minotaur. It was sent after them by the Trix who had to sneak into the school to try and find this Dragon Fire that was powerful. Musa managed to do her best against it, considering she didn't have her magic at the time, by using simple brooms, buckets and even cleaning products. In the end they managed and they were given back their powers again.
Soon it was the day of the rose, a festival to celebrate their parents and as such as people went home to their families for the day. Musa stays at the school since unlike the others, her mother had passed away and her father is always busy, so this day was always bittersweet for her. While the others went out, Musa stayed at the school and spoke instead to a projection of her mother, she talked about classes and about the guy she likes, Riven and mentions she was going to spend the whole day with her.
What she didn't know was what happened during that time and while she wasn't with them that Riven had ended up falling for Darcy after after spelled him, she did however find out later and Stella brought it out causing Musa to be angry at her and running off. While in the city of Magix she comes across Darcy and Riven on a date, this upset her and she starts to spy on the date. Soon the other two Trix soon spotted her and talked to her about what she was doing on Cloud Tower territory and because of this Musa ended up slapping the leader, Icy around the face, although in the 4kids version she put a wart on her face.
This ended up with Musa getting chased by a group of witches, while running away she bumps into Riven, who doesn't want to help her at all. Eventually the others came and helped her out and during the battle Darcy nearly managed to harm her using some cars that were around. and if it wasn't for Bloom they properly would have lost. For most of the time, Musa is only really there as backup or to help out and nothing really is there for development in her as a person. This even included the time when they found answer to a test and were the only ones to pass it, but it wasn't until the Trix unleashed a nightmare creature upon them, Musa was one of the three to have a nightmare and have the creature feed off of it. The nightmare she had was of her mother and the fact she couldn't hear the music anymore.
This was eventually solved, but not before the Trix had arrived to try and take Bloom's power, but they were saved by the headmistress. After an incident there was the Day of the Royal's which Musa with the others had to sneak into, this of course didn't end very well when Bloom attacked one of the royals thinking it was Icy and thus found out something. Because of that Musa had her powers diluted for a bit.
It wasn't long before the Trix had finally gotten what they wanted from Bloom and released to army of decay, or darkness in the RAI version. They did there best and pushed them back for the meantime, but soon Musa along with the others were sent to the dead plant of Domino (Sparks in the 4kids version) where they had to go to find out how to get Bloom's powers back. When they first arrived, it was a very cold and dead place and therefore had to try and find the palace without knowing where it was. It had taken a while before they did and Bloom was knocked down into a crack after they had been chased by a monster, leaving Musa and the others to try and still find a way in.
This didn't take long as it was Musa who used a spell to find the place and there they found Bloom, safe and sound, but they didn't get what they needed and therefore returned back to Alfea, but before they did they were once again attacked by ice crabs and also that creature from before. When it seemed like they couldn't beat them, they headed once again into the castle and locked themselves within. When it appeared they were starting to come in, they did what they had to and fly as fast as she could. In the end they had to be saved by the specialist, or they helped when they arrived.
They had soon returned to the school to once again face off against the army of decay. Musa stayed at the school to deal with that until the witches came themselves. This was when Musa along with the others minus Bloom faced off against Darcy and Stormy and eventually beat them with the help at the end of the two headmistresses of Cloud Tower and Alfea. Soon Icy was defeated and the trouble was over, the army of decay had gone and it was time to party and just have fun after all that had happened to end the school year.

[She pauses for a moment before she looks at her guide, she goes from appearing okay to kind of worried.]

[She listens to them as they explained the guide and how to check via there.]

Musa looked around her new surroundings. Did the Trix cause this? But how would they be able to do that when they are stuck in some goody do-gooders realm, or at least that's what they were told, but when the Vogan told her her world had been destroyed, she wanted to cry, but knew it wasn't a good idea. Melody was gone, did that mean that Alfea was gone to? She didn't want to think about the other places being gone to, because that meant that her father, her friends might be gone as well and that really hurt.
This is whack, you know? she said placing her hand upon the desk, this really didn't think that her friends could have gone with the worlds, she couldn't be the only one left. It had been a good couple of moments before she was snapped out of her thoughts as she looked up What? he snapped slightly before looking down at the guide. That's pretty rad, what is it?
It's your guide, you use it to talk to others throughout the Thor. Musa picked it up slightly as she was told the information, it was defiantly not something she had seen before and she knew Tecna would to have loved to put this thing apart just to study it. This just made her miss her friends even more, she even missed Riven as well.
Thanks. She said, putting on the smile for the meantime as she finally left the cue, walking on over to a near by bench and taking a seat. She continued to stare at the screen for a good few minutes before finally deciding to switch it on and hoping that the girls would answer her.

With the message sent out she switched it off, standing up and looking around, it was about that time she would look for her new crib, where ever that was.
