A/N: This ain't going nowhere
The slant of light pouring in from Gunhee's bedroom and out onto the balcony is interrupted by a shadow and the only warning he gets of Heechul's arrival.
Gunhee continues to smoke his second, no, third cigarette, the reason he left the living room where they were watching who knows what on television in the first place. Because Heechul hates cigarettes and the smoke and complains Gunhee goes to the balcony every time.
Which makes Gunhee wonder why Heechul came out here when Gunhee's doing that thing he hates.
Heechul leans against the wrought iron fence surrounding them and Gunhee knows how it feels cold and uncomfortable and wet from the recent rain. If nothing else the skyline is beautiful at least.
“No one is going to want to kiss you if you keep doing that,” Heechul finally says, looking out at the city and not at Gunhee.
Gunhee's first instinct it to say he only wants one person to kiss him and that's not going to happen whether or not he quits, but they've been circling each other for too long to give up the farce now.
“Guess I won't be kissing anyone then,” Gunhee says and he's kind of sad that his point it ruined by his cigarette running out. He stubs it out on the railing and flicks it all the way down the apartment building to the ground with the last two, or was is three.
Normally Heechul would make a quip about taking part in two nasty habits but it's one of those nights where they are too busy toeing the line around each other, standing either too far apart or too close together with no in between. And Gunhee always feels like Heechul really needs to leave before one of them does something stupid.
