Still Here, Everyone
Has it really been nigh on five months since I last posted anything here?
Well, rest assured that precious little has happened to me these last few months.
Points of moderate interest:
1. My birthday was the 17th. Suddenly, everything and nothing has changed at the same time.
2. On the same day, I was wait-listed at my first choice. I can't quite decide if I should be optimistic about my chances, or be realistic and resign myself to the fact that I couldn't get in with less competition than what will be flooding in this month; meanwhile, half of my friends are getting into sundry first-choice institutions. Good for them, though.
3. Still haven't completed FFXIII. Stay tuned!
Nothing interesting outside of these things; I've been reading a fair bit about all these crazy goings-on these days, and I've come to the conclusion that these are strange and frightening times we all live in.
I'm going to go play my game that makes me think too much about the world...after I spend some quality time with Mr. Solzhenitsyn.
Maybe by February I'll remember to talk about Christmas?
