Hello u sexy people!Long time, no update :) I still don't have anything important to say, but oh well, I was so bored, that I decided to post a LJ entry.
I finished the 4th Nightrunners book last week and I can't wait for the 5th book to hit bookstores. It will take sometime, though. Beginning of 2010 according to Lynn Flewelling...Oh well, I guess it will be worth the wait...I hope it is as exciting as "Shadows Return", which I enjoyed more than "Traitor's Moon". And omg Alec was such sweetie in it, with all his motherly feelings and jealousies...And Seregil...omg I love him so much <333
I think that if Ilar didn't lack vital parts of his body *ahem* the story would have been even more exciting. Not that it was not exciting the way it was, but you know, it's my naughty side speaking :)
In the meantime I started reading "Alexander" by Gisbert Haefs- at last. There is not much Alexander up to this point. There is loads of Aristotle recounting events to a young Peucestas and also other people made up by the author, such as Dymas and Emes. I will start the 4th capital Mysteries of Samothrace tonight. Hopefully, there will be a lot of Philip and Olympias :)
I pre-ordered the limited edition of the new Riceboy Sleeps album and I can't wait to get my hands and ears on it. I also ordered some new Alexander related goodies, but there will be a separate post on that, when I receive it ;)
Speaking of Riceboy Sleeps, listen to "Boy 1904" from the album which has already leaked.
Jonsi and Alex have used samples of the voice recordings of the last ever castrato singer Alessandro Moreschi...
The result is heavenly!
p.s. I haven't watched season 2 of Torchwood yet, but I have seen all the related posts...Should I really invest my time watching it, or not?
If I understood correctly, there is no more Ianto in season 3? Has he left Jack for good ?
