This is the problem right here in its entirety: a woman driving a mini-van
Yep, case solved. I'm a big believer in women's equality and all that crap, but honestly I think women are worse drivers than men. Men do that stupid, show-offy, drive real fast stuff, but all in all,the weaving, cell-phone-weilding morons are women.
I admit to being a rather aggressive driver. And just the other day, I was on the highway with several lanes of traffic (4 each direction, if I recall). I was probably going a little over the speed limit, but staying with the flow of traffic. All of a sudden, I came upon a car in the far left lane, going below the speed limit (and fluctuating speed extensively). When I was finally able to pass, it was a man on a cell phone.
Oh sure, there are exceptions. It just seems to me most of the weaving, drifting, 5-miles-an-hour-too-slow that I've seen lately have been women. The latest was just today, a woman in a huge SUV, driving with her wrists while she texted or did something on a blackberry resting on the steering wheel.
I need to move back to SF. The bus system was plenty good for my road rage there. ;)
