Onew/Luna | Kissing You
“Sunyoung, look!”
Sunyoung turned her head to the right and warm lips touched hers at a sudden.
She blinked her eyes. Once. Twice. And Jinki had to lift his hand and cup her face softly before she closed her eyes and started to enjoy the moment.
Jinki oppa felt nice. I don’t know that guys could be this soft.
“Unnie, stop it!”
She frowned. Is that Soojung’s voice? What is she doing here?
She blinked once again and Jinki grew his hair longer this time. What the--
“Unnie, can’t you just wake up?”
She gasped, immediately getting up from her sleep. Staying still in bed, her mind told her that something didn’t go as nice as she felt earlier. She let out a sheepish grin towards the younger girl who stared at her non-stop. Soojung surely didn’t look pleased.
“I suggest you confess to Jinki oppa soon unnie, so that you can stop kissing me around while you’re sleeping.”
Zhoumi/Victoria | Run to You
Zhoumi ran like there was no day after. He had decided to step off the taxi, choosing to give his long legs a healthy move instead of cramming them down too long. And though that was partially right, the reason why he couldn’t wait anymore longer was that he could not wait to see her, for her radiant smile was the only thing he saw at the moment. He needed to see her, and nothing could really stop him at the moment.
“What-- Are you running here? What is it, Mi-ge? You sweat like--”
Zhoumi shook his head. Lifting his hand, he practically ignored the confused Amber who welcomed him in the front door. He took steps towards the living room, head changing direction from left to right in attempt to find her.
“Qian jiejie is attending her ballet class right now. I thought you knew.”
His face fell upon hearing the words. Dragging his feet towards the couch, he finally felt the exhaustion that crept inside.
“What is it, gege? Are you intending to confess?” Amber passed him a glass of water before sneaking into the couch. Her eyes were sparkling with curiosity.
Zhoumi sipped the water down, and Amber swore she saw her brother blushed a little for a second.
After moments of awkward silence between them, he rose from the seat, “I found her the Gucci bag she wanted earlier. Tell her to get it in my place later.”
Amber could only stare at him blankly with her mouth gaping in disbelief.
Heechul/Sulli | Sister of Mine
“Your sister grew up beautifully.”
He nodded. I know. I was with her all the time, remember?
“Oppa, you came.”
Of course I come, why wouldn’t I?
She flashed a shy grin as she opened her veil, demanding a hearty comment from him, “What do you think? I think this is a bit too much.”
Nothing seems too much when it is with you.
“Stop swinging your dress like that, Jinri. It costs a year of your college life.”
He chuckled seeing her pouting upon being told by her mom. You never change.
“Say something, Heechul oppa. I wanna know what’s in your mind before Taemin oppa comes and sees me like this.”
His heart clenched. Before Taemin oppa comes and sees me like this. Why would it feel this hurt?
“Heechul needs to sit down first, honey. Now why don’t you change into the peach dress over there? The color suits your skin.”
Heechul smiled at her before turning his head to stare at the older woman. Please don’t do this now.
“You seem too tensed. Do you want her to know?”
He looked away. And now you’re talking as if it is my fault.
“I’m saying this only because I need to see you have a life. A proper life indeed. And even though this feels so hard to you, I know you can move on. Marrying your father was--"
He lifted his hand. Please stop. Just stop. I can’t bear this anymore.
“Mom, I can’t zip the dress. Do you mind?”
Heechul sighed and the woman rose from her seat in a hurry, though she still managed to throw a heavy glance towards him.
He closed his eyes, trying to compose himself before he felt a soft hand poking his cheek. What should I do to make you stop, Jinri?
“Let’s take a picture together, oppa. We haven’t had it for quite a long time.”
He forced a smile before rising up from his seat. Sometimes I wonder if you ever know my heart, so letting you go won’t probably be this hard.
“Come on, smile widely. Jinri, stop rubbing your eye.”
Heechul managed to smile one more time before the light flashed blindingly. He never noticed a lonesome tear that escaped her eye.
Changmin/Sooyoung | Employee of the Month
Shim Changmin declared that day as the worst day of his life.
The day began with him getting up late, thanks to Kyuhyun’s random party the night before. Kyuhyun was the heaviest drinker among them all, but last night he crossed the line deliberately. After those seemingly endless bottles of soju, the single word that slipped away his lips was only more and more and more again.
Changmin had always had a high tolerance on his best friend’s frenzy, but unfortunately their boss didn’t feel the same way. They were supposed to present their project progress for the last quarter, and Kyuhyun just had to stumble over the board, causing a big damage on their building miniature project model.
A well done building miniature project model with the length of time making of 80 days.
And “I am disappointed in you, Shim.” was the only words coming from his boss, like he was already forgetting the fact that Kyuhyun was involved entirely in the project.
Letting out a big sigh, he threw their project model to the nearest trash bin, a bit thinking that maybe he just had to die and never come back to the office.
“What happened with that?”
Changmin turned around and found a pair of beautiful brown eyes looking at his trash bin. Well maybe I don’t really have to die right now.
“Why did you throw it away? It is beautiful.” The girl continued while taking his building miniature up from the bin.
“I don’t think it is,” he replied solemnly, but his eyes never leave her face. Who are you?
“Well, I mean it was beautiful until someone dumb over there stumbled and ruined it like that.” He pointed to a sleepy man beside his cubicle (who waved his hand and smirked shamelessly) before getting up from his seat to approach her.
“Oh, by the way,” she smiled apologetically. “Excuse me for sneaking into your cubicle like this. My name’s Sooyoung.”
Changmin nodded and silently hoped that she was going to replace Kyuhyun as his partner, “I’m Changmin.”
She nodded thoughtfully, her eyes still lingering on the miniature.
“Are you perhaps--"
“What are you doing, Shim? Didn’t I tell you to fix that project right away?” His boss’ demanding voice cut him off.
He scratched his neck nervously before looking down to the floor, his heart silently cursing. Good timing boss, can’t you just wait until I get her phone number?
“You’re being too harsh, daddy. You make him scared.”
He lifted his head up quickly. What is happening--
“What? You don’t think I can have a beautiful girl like her as my daughter?” His boss narrowed his eyes. “You still need at least 10 years before you can lay your eyes on her.”
“Daddy!” Sooyoung nudged him awkwardly, somewhat looking embarrassed.
Shim Changmin smiled for the first time on that day. He decided that the next “employee of the month” would be his to be conquered.
Henry/Amber | Count on Me
“Amber, you okay?”
Amber ignored the painful knock outside her room. She pulled her legs to the chest, her chin rested above her knee. She inhaled softly, and her running nose made her breathing felt worse.
She knew they couldn’t stay longer, for they themselves had something to do on their own. But still, having them around after God-knows-how-many tiring days really did her a favor. It was like as if she finally knew her real purposes behind those endless practices alone at night. Or the times when she hardly had the heart to smile but instead she gave the world the widest grin she ever had. It was as if she knew she’d survive with them being on her side.
A couple of familiar knocks woke her sense up.
“Hey, it’s me. Can I come in?”
She glanced at the door. She knew she didn’t have to answer because he would just eventually open the door and step inside, coming along with a boyish grin he usually had on his face.
“What are you doing here all alone? You scared me,” he rolled his eyes, attempting to be funny.
“Shut up, Henry.” She stared at him, “What do you bring? Give me your best shot or else I kick you out.”
He laughed and muttered some lame jokes before starting to unpack his things from the big navy bag, revealing a small size of family tent and a flashlight.
Amber pouted but her eyes betrayed her for they were sparkling with excitement. “You brought me a tent. Great.”
“Hey! This is your cure for tonight, miss crybaby. What do you think about camping inside your room?”
“It’s inside my room and you brought a flashlight. I don’t know you can be very genius sometimes.”
She frowned a little but decided to get up from the bed and offered him a hand to set the tent up. She started it awkwardly since it was her first time dealing with those things, but later she found herself laughing over Henry’s habit of damaging little things around. He occasionally tripped over things because of her cramped room and Amber started to think that maybe her balance wasn’t that bad.
“I could be your family too you know,” a shy voice behind her appeared between their hysterical movements around, causing her to look back and found him scratching his neck awkwardly. “Because.. You know.. Family is a place you can be your very self at the end of the day. Family is--"
“Whom I can trust and rely on.” She never let him continued for she was stepping forward and holding him closely.
Henry smiled sheepishly, looking at her eyes, “I guess I should bring you more tents from now on.”
She hit his chest playfully before leaning closer. Thank you, Henry. I know I can always count on you.
Eunhyuk/Hyoyeon | Breathe
Hyukjae shifted his position on the park bench that afternoon. Looking at a certain girl within his sight distance, he smiled blissfully. The girl wore an oversized pink jumper today. Her hair fell past her shoulders, and sunshine had made it beautifully glow.
“You can’t do this alone, kiddo. Let noona help you.”
She lifted a child with both of her hands towards the nearest trash bin, allowing him to drop an empty can into it. She let out a warm smile later as the boy clung to her with his hands circled on her leg, mouthing a small thank you.
“I could just go on seeing you like that, and die happily,” Hyukjae smiled after the boy decided to run along with his friends to somewhere out of their sight.
Hyoyeon rolled her eyes and giggled, “Shut up. If I knew you could be this cheesy--”
“What? What would you do? Hmmm?” He moved his seat next to the girl and embraced her happily.
She lifted her head up and traced his jawline in a slow move before leaning closer, a smile on her face, “Nothing.” She kissed him lightly in the lips, “I could just go on kissing you like this, and die happily.”
Hyukjae smiled even wider and deepened the kiss one more time before getting pushed later by the furious younger boy from earlier.
“Go away from noona, you ugly jerk!”
Hyoyeon just couldn’t stop laughing her heart out seeing him blinking his eyes in a full shock the moment after.
Siwon/Tiffany | I Want to Hold Your Hand
Siwon was avoiding her. That, she knew. Why he was doing it, she (probably) also knew.
She kissed him one night before her graduation day. Being totally drunk she was, and between loud screams and music behind them, she leaned forward. Cupping his surprised face, she moved and brushed those soft lips of hers into his. She smelled like alcohol and sour lemon but she didn’t care a bit for she thought that was her last chance to win his heart.
She was moving to America soon, and that meant no more oppa’s piggyback ride on her way home, no more warm patting on her head every time she did a good job, no more silly jokes in attempt to make her feel better after a rough day.
She was tired being oppa’s little sister. She wanted him to see her at least a bit of her feelings towards him so that way she didn’t have a regret feeling of having no guts to tell him how she felt all those time.
But if confessing to him was eventually bringing her such circumstances, with him simply ignoring the fact that she existed in the same world with him, she would had never done it in the first place. She missed her oppa now and regretted the way she had to kiss him that night.
She came to his house earlier that morning. His mom was surprised to know that she was moving away. Siwon was there, she knew it, but instead of asking his mom to call him downstairs, she left with that famous eye-smile, telling his mom to send him her warmest regards.
- - -
She woke up the next day feeling exhausted. Her eyes looked smaller after hours of sobbing and she began to think what her face would look like after she moved away there.
“Have you brought everything you need, Miyoung?”
She nodded at her father. Pulling her big suitcases towards the living room, she didn’t notice a man standing there silently.
“Are you sure you’ve brought everything you need?”
She turned around and found herself already wrapped in his warm embrace. She bit her lower lip, and soon her eyes blurring with tears.
“I’m sorry for being a jerk this whole month.” He whispered desperately, regretful at the same time.
She nodded her head, letting his scent filled her mind and heart before Siwon pushed her softly, presenting her a dozen of pink roses. “Here, take my heart with you.”
The color matched her rosy cheeks and Siwon had to hold the urge to claim her lips as fast as he could. “Don’t you dare return it for some blonde guys over there,” he warned her seriously before taking her back into his embrace.
Miyoung laughed. She knew she had won his heart eventually.
Minho/Krystal | Can't Fight This Feeling
“Maybe we should break up.”
Minho felt the sudden pain hitting his stomach as he opened his mouth, half gaping due to his disbelieving heart.
“You’re being too nice, oppa.” She walked around the room in a straight line shape. Her eyes were not so bright, but hey his were already blurred with tears.
“So nice that I don’t even think you care about me at all.”
Just what do you want me to do? I promise I will--
“This time too. I am breaking up with you and you are smiling.” She returned his stare, half upset, “You are smiling that nice smile of yours.”
I’m not, Soojung. My heart is broken and here you gave me speech, thinking that I’m smiling..
“I..” She stopped walking in her track. “I actually never get to see the real you.”
Minho gulped. Gritting his teeth, he tried hard to suppress the tears from falling down.
Soojung turned around to see him. She walked closer, her eyes portraying a bit of guilt, “Oppa.. Are you.. crying?”
He blinked furiously, demanding the tears to be back inside, “I’m n-- not!”
And suddenly he found the world was seemingly crazy because the moments after she laughed so hard and the next thing he saw was Jinki and Kibum and Jonghyun sneaking inside his room, praising her for doing a very good job.
“What the hell--”
And of course Taemin had to come with a pretty big round cake. Candles were lighted beautifully and he slapped himself mentally for being so forgetful.
“Happy birthday, hyung! Please stop crying, you’ll look ugly in the pictures.”
Minho did look ugly and he didn’t care even a bit, for he started his revenge to smack his members down with the cake while shouting stop using my girlfriend to get me you bastards.
Jonghyun and Jinki were later busy screaming their best shots and Soojung had to end them abruptly by kissing Minho a happy birthday or else the rest of them might be found dead with whipped creams all over their faces.
I had so much fun writing them~ hope you too will enjoy reading this~!
