Jonghyun wears his superficial expression as usual, his eyes are scanning the movement of hers, who are thinning into one line at the moment. His leader hyung has started the conversation earlier, asking about his ex wife whose turns out surprisingly is a close friend of her rather than just a casual labelmate.
“So you and Joohyun go shopping together? Seriously?” Yonghwa swings the hockey stick, deliberately pointing it towards him.
She giggles, “Quite a few times. Seohyun unnie is busier than me, so umm once in a while?”
They exchange mutual laugh and continue the chat some moment later, completely ignoring Jonghyun who is seemingly more attracted to the white plain ice rink than to join their conversation. Yonghwa, of what he thinks, is indeed a womanizer, the very opposite of himself. He mingles perfectly, and it is clear that Sulli is one of those who can’t resist his charm.
The crew calls them for a sudden briefing a few minutes later. They were skating towards the meeting point sequentially with him following her back when suddenly he finds her almost slip after one unnecessary flip. He catches her left arm in reflex and drops his hockey stick as the same time.
“That was dangerous. You okay?”
She lets out a sigh of relief, “I’m fine. Thank you--” she pauses and he sees her blinding smile. “Jonghyun oppa.”
He shrugs and is later offering his hand unconsciously, “Come on, I’ll take you there.”
She takes it shyly and he tries his best to push the excitement (and his loud Yonghwa hyung) far away.
