yay! Anyway, I loved this. I loved Ville's questions, with something deeper behind his nonchalant way of asking. I loved Bam's nervousness about having done something with Ville and not remembering and his denial about being gay.

My heart broke along with Ville's when he realized that only he remembered the "shy touches" and kisses that Bam gave him when they were drunk together. You captured the atmosphere of that scene perfectly. I could just feel the horror in Bam's mind when Ville asked his initial question. I could feel Ville's frustration, then happiness when Bam said that he hadn't fucked Jussi, then sadness again, when Bam didn't remeber anything.

I also love how impulsive Bam's decision was to get that tattoo. To go completely on an impulse like that and get someone tattooed on your arm.... He seems so completely blind to his feelings. I also love how nervous he seemed when he showed Kat what he wanted on his arm. Excellent chapter darling! I anxiously await more!

i like a bit of a roller coaster conversation. especially for these two, they're both so closed up in their minds and a little scared of the truth that it seems easier to pretend, or simply not to say.

i like the thought that Bam knows in his heart of hearts how much he loves Ville, even he's not that blind. i think hes just scared of the reactions. it would be hard to face because the whole world will be facing it with him.

As for the impulse tattoo, he said he heard the new album and loved it so much he was inspired, i think thats cool, but i like it even more if on some subconscious level he was doing it to show Ville, and the world, that despite all the time hes spending with Jussi doing what he used to do with Ville, Ville's always going to be there, in his heart and in his mind and on his flesh.

well... wanker could be a good or bad thing, if you think about it. haha
You deserve to feel "all happy inside," this story makes ME happy inside.
As for VAM in the real world, I always wondered why Bam got a portrait of his friend on his arm, it always seemed odd to me (if he isn't secretly in love with him, of course). lol

Anyway, I hope you had a nice holiday.

Ahhhhh I sort of love the fact that Bam can't remember how far things between him and Ville have gone, thats probably kinda twisted but to me the whole Vam affair is based around secrecy and desire, a desire which for them is present under a haze of alcohol when inhibitions are faded, so for Bam not to remember it kind of shows the natural pull between them. Although I do feel sorry for dear Ville, its a disappointing discovery for him especially with their fragile present partnership.

And of course the infamous tattoo, I've always loved it not just because its a picture of Ville but because of the placement, its somewhere that no matter what Bam we will see it everyday (especially when in the compromising position of pleasuring ones self- sorry had to be said!) and as it is constant sight for others, its quite an intimate spot really.

i've always seen the Vam affair in the same way, the fog of booze and the haze of desire, they just suit the boys so much. and you get the feeling that they need that extra push to let go of their inhibitions.
i guess in a way what i was trying to do with this story is see if that will work sober, if they're strong enough or in love enough to work through sobriety.

an yeah, that was like my first thought when i saw it all those years ago, it was like Dude! come on! if you cant literally bring Vile into bed, your doing your best to bring him in spiritually!

Oh yeah I completely understand, Ville's sobriety must have been a major shock to Bam and I can imagine it would made their hanging out a lot harder. I mean sure they would have hung out sober before but they always had the drunken adventures to fall back on, so I love that your capturing that and so wonderfully!

Lol its so true. Poor Bam Bam we can see straight through him, can't we? If he wanted to seem straight he should have gotten at set of boobs tattooed there :P

Girl! I want to eat this whole story up!!! I can barely wait for the next chapters but I can already tell that this is the kind of goodness that I'll be sad to see end. Your writing makes me want to slow down and breathe deep. It's so poetic. I just went back and read 3 and 4 before this (I'm kind of a freak like that) and I feel all warm and gooey inside.

Ever since Bam's minor meltdown and even more so since his midnight swim things had been settling between them, the brick wall which seemed to have been built between them when neither one had been looking now crumbling slowly away. It was exhilarating in a way -Ville hadn't expected to spend time just being them ever again. I like this movement in their relationship. Back to baseline but with a depth that maybe they lacked before. I'm thinking that they are starting to be able to relax around each other again but that everything is now so much more meaningful. In chapter 4 you wrote that amazing part after the swim, under the streetlights: It was different experiencing something

AWW Bam and Ville have so many little issues between them, like a real couple only they seem to be the ones not wanting to admit they were/are a couple and I love how dramatic Ville can be.

I love that Bam felt guilty about what he said...really he should have known Ville was done just playing along by now. You either or in it or you're not Bammey Boy.

Great update can't wait for more...and yeah I think Jussi is Bam's new toy....he better hope Jyrki doesn't find out LOL!!

i love Ville being a bit dramatic, i cracked myself laughing when he said he had 'a little drama queen in him' during an interview. and with his lyrics? a little dramatic.
