I loved how Bam tried to hide the tattoo from Ville. This was completely unexpected. I so did not anticipate this kind of reaction from Bam. And Ville's silent observation of Bam's bizarre behavior as he figured it out was so enticing.
His misinterpretation and confrontation broke my heart: “I thought we’d gotten over this.”
Bam’s head jerked up from his meal which he had been staring petulantly at for the past five minutes in silence. “Over what?” He fingered his wine glass absently but didn’t drink from it.
Ville cleared a path through his salad and pretended it was the red sea and he had control over something. “Avoiding each other.” Awww, poor Ville. If only he knew that, in actuality, Bam was worshiping him, but wanting to keep it a secret, unsure of how it would be received. And again, how sad, this evidence, revealed so beautifully and subtly by your amazing writing, that the trust just isn't there ( ... )
