I should really know better than to vow I've returned... it never works out. My house got a flea infestation, so I've been battling that for the past 3 weeks with pretty much all my spare time.

I got "Revolution" for the cat, and that fixed him right up. We've sprayed, bombed, and otherwise treated the house... but there are still stragglers. Two nights ago I actually found myself salting the cracks between the floor boards (apparently it dehydrates the fleas? I don't know, I asked Google) and vacuumed it up last night... and that actually might have worked, because I haven't had nearly as many near my computer since then. So, fingers crossed I can actually sit at my computer without being flea bait soon.

You'll be happy to know that v_mures has incentived me into writing something today in fact. I had hoped to have more writing done this month then turned out happening... the house (and the cat) got fleas... so I've pretty much spent all my time dealing with getting rid of the little buggers. The biggest issue being that apparently they really really like being near my computer for some reason... so I pretty much haven't been.
