My parents are going to be here in one week! I'm so excited. Now it is cherry blossom time in Japan...they're really pretty. I wish that the other trees would go ahead and turn green though. I have instituted outdoor happy hour, even though it is just me drinking a beer on my porch (wearing a sweater). But damnit, it's happy hour

That blows about the transcripts. I had that problem at New College--they never got my transcripts from GA State and I almost didn't get to graduate. I remember Paul having a really hard time when he was applying for grad school from Germany, too. It's hard enough coordinating all those materials from here, let alone from across a gigantic ocean! I'm sure whatever you decide, though, you will find a way to make it work.
