Thanks. Exhibitionistic. I blame being full of whiskey, The Simpsons and sleep.
06. Who my best friends are.
(I was hoping someone would pick this; here's a diatribe) I think the very concept of best friends is total schlock. How often do we find the people we thought we knew, loved and trusted were worthy of none of those (remember that snit with tenacious_snail? ;) )? And how often do those people we don't think of ourselves as being particularly close to really come through? It's bullshit. Friends are like words- no single one can be the best thing for all occasions. Some are more widely applicable than others, some are really kind of useless until that moment when you need that exact one and nothing else will do, some make you shudder a bit and some just roll off the tongue in a most delicious way for who knows what reason. I try not to sort them, but to keep bridges up with all of them so I have my words handy when I need them, and they have me to be their word.
08. Biggest turn-offs.
Willful stupidity. Seriously nothing turns me off faster

I'd have to go with The Things They Carried by Tim O'Brien. Gorgeous book.

How do you prevent, defuse, and resolve conflict in an intimate relationship?
