Also, what you said about how it took losing everything you had to realize how lucky you are? I've so been there. Twice, actually. I know that feeling, and as hard and awful as it is at the time, it's one of those things you look back on (years from now) and realize how lucky you were to have gone through it.

Second of all, her loss. Cliche but very true. If she can't see what an incredible daughter, an incredible person you are, her loss. Seriously, you are amazing.
