Wow! It's been a crazy month. We were so glad to have our power back for Christmas. Even with cutting back, the kids had a great time. We got Maddy's old train table out from the basement and brought it upstairs for Alex's trains. He was thrilled, and has played with it every day. If you can manage it, don't give him the satisfaction of an "ow!" Instead try telling him that he's being mean, and refuse to interact with him for a couple of minutes. That way he won't get a "reward" for his bad behaviour. As long as he gets lots of attention when he's playing nice, and none when he's misbehaving, he'll quickly learn which strategy works best :D
