I hate being as emotional as I am. Actually I am not sure if emotional is even the right word, and I'm not in any state to figure out what the right one is.

I didn't realize it would be this hard to have to sleep so far away from my family. I can barely see the screen for all the tears. I just love my family so much...

The first night was probably the hardest. It is very helpfull that the people that I am staying with are relatives though. Having the same last name is comforting.

I'm so grateful for all this technology... can you imagine moving away just 10 years ago, with no MSN and webcams, VoIP, and email? Even cell phones have better rates for calling across the country than regular phones used to. Long distance calling used to be SO expensive, people used to rely on postcards and hand-written letters!

Tell me about it! As much as computers frusterate me I don't know where I would be without them. Although postcards and handwritten letters still do rock on many levels :D

If you ever manage to make you way over here (not sure if your airline comes to Vancouver) we should meet!!

hang in there buddy, give them a call if you feel you miss them too much.
I dont know if its a good or a bad thing, but I don't have this problem, in fact I feel relieved when I am far from my relatives,.
