your call to action anonymous December 8 2005, 18:57:26 UTC
hello RIC WSO. I am SO impressed with your powerful Burma Shave action! We need more performance art in our world as so many are numbed by the lies and half-lies that make up our 'news' these days. Creative action shakes us up, wakes us up. Women's right to control our bodies is eroding daily. You have issued a call to action, a resounding NO. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

I support women's reproductive rights across the board.
I do not, however, support religion bashing. While it is
currently fashionable to attack Catholicism, it cannot be
viewed as an act of courage to scapegoat the current social
"underdog." This was Hitler's first step in demonizing Jews.

Do you honestly see catholicism as the "underdog"??? And since when is it fashionable to bash catholics? We live in RI, there is a huge world out there... go to other parts of the country and see how fashionable it is to bash catholics... It's nice to see the Women's studies group being compared to Hitler though... I almost see the similiarities...
