you're not alone! i'm sort of leaning towards a double major at this point in classical studies and some sort of political science, probably international relations. but of course i can't really minor if i double major so then my plan to minor in music would be squashed. but don't we have til the end of sophomore year anyway?
btw my mom's an architect. she went to pratt for it. but the thing is, a degree in architecture can still be used for stuff like set design. except you could design the entire theater if you wanted to!
good luck! and remember, you always have the byebyeoklagreasemekate reunion over winter break to look forward to!
It depends on the school and the major. In my major you hav e to know right away...not all though. THe school does kind of make you hone in pretty early though. At least I can switch when I want to.
I know a degree in Architecture is very useful, but if I am unhappy in it I dont wanna waste 5 years when I could be doing things I enjoy. Maybe it will turn around but right now it doesnt look like it.
Its so funny...so many of my friends' parents are architects but I am just discovering this now haha!
yeah i definitely see what you're saying. it can be tedious, esp if you aren't sure. of course, back when my mom got her degree it was the pre-autocad days when everything was done on paper, which i guess was even more tedious. but it took her a few tries before she passed her license exam! i don't even know how she decided to become an architect, i should ask her.
anyway, i hope you can figure it out. i say go with your gut feeling!
definately stick with the game makers club, man, that sounds really cool. and dont worry, you never stop wondering what you're supposed to do until you figure it out. and apparently, you know when you figure it out once you do.
i still havent, which is why im still working on a shitty horror movie for no pay (actually it's because i like the art department on this job a lot, and i want them to re-hire me).
