I tried turning it on once, but I couldn't get past the login screen because everytime I hit "u" or "t", two letters came up... but since it was a password, i couldn't see which extra letters were coming up. So uhh.. yeah. I haven't tried it again since. I'm scared.

disconnect the battery, and put it somewhere with lots of circulation for a day or so to let the inside dry out, and hope that nothing shorted out when you turned it on.

yeah, i did that. i've had the fan directed on it for the whole day, so hopefully that helps a little. ack.
