You can! I ate a dog biscuit to try it. It was bland, but not repulsive like you might imagine "dog food" would be. I didn't try the cakes, though, but I did try the frosting :D

Just out of curiosity, is Lady a vegan dog? Or do you still feed her meat?

She's still an omni, but with vegetarian tendencies. As I'm trying to bulk her up still, I feed her a mixture of brown rice, kibble and wet dog food. I managed to find a vegetarian (unsure if it's vegan) wet food that's got all the vitamins already added to it, so now I just need to find a similar veggie dry food so I can give her a mostly veggie diet. I still give her the occasional meaty wet food, though, but I'm really glad she's happy eating the veggie alternatives, too!
