I've never made a hat before... BUT LOOK! A HAT! THAT I MADE! This took me 5 episodes of Project Runway to complete.

I go through phases of knitting. I rarely knit regularly, it's all or nothing! Like, either I'll do 5 hours non-stop, or I won't pick up my knitting for weeks on end. I have to have a project I'm excited about.

I cannot figure out knitting in the round, no matter how many times I try.

Have you tried watching youtube videos? As soon as you've grasped it, it's really easy!

I have tried learning from Youtube, the lovely lady from the local knitting shop, my patient Nana and not so patient friend but cannot get my head around it.
Scarves shall be my speciality :)

I'm actually IN LOVE with that. So much. And I've never owned a hat like that in my entire life. I've owned newsboy hats and big Canadian toques of course.. but nothing that amazing. How long did it take?!
