Hey, saw your mod in CivFanatics forum, discussed possibly helping with the mod... (Sudy). Sadly, I cannot likely help with the truly daunting task of editing the DiplomacyInfos file (I can do it, but it takes a while, and I can't find an efficient way to do one civ at a time... played with idea of using module, but DiplomacyInfos doesn't seem to work that way... But I can certainly code the leaders and civilizations, already got Feliks down, if you want the files you can tell me how to send them to you ( ... )

Yea, I tried using module as well when I first started, was kind of stumped but then I had the idea of building all of this on top of another existing mod. XML is truly hard to work with. One single typo and you get errors galore.

I think mostly its due to the program we use to edit the XML files with. I started out using Notepad, and I'm going to assume you are working with something similar right now too. It is truly a nightmare to work with, so I'm sure this alternative program will help you a lot.

I'm currently using Notepad++.

This link is direct from the notepad ++ website. It organizes all the lines in coherently and makes finding certain lines much easier. Hope you like it.

Also, regarding the main DiplomacyInfos file, I'm really impressed you can look through and see the work I did in there. You are ABSOLUTELY correct when you say INSANEThe file is really messy and disorganized, mostly because it was already like that, and partly due to me since I really didn't expect anyone else other than me would be working on it. Excellent, that Notebook ++ thing looks helpful, haven't used it much yet, but just seeing those line numbers makes me feel dizzy with happiness... no more line-counting to find typos ( ... )

If you zoom towards America's cities while in the game, you can hear his Hetalia theme playing in the background, so its not completely out of the game yet!

Currently, I'm working on a Liechtenstein, Korea, Lithuania, and Holland. I'll be using what you sent me for Poland. Awesome work so far.

While the Polish national anthem fits nicely, I'd prefer if you know of any classic, well known music by polish composers (besides Chopin of course, haha). It just gives it the whole 'Civ4' feel. I'd love to keep your piano rendition for diplomacy music for now though.

Also, I'll be using this image for Poland. What do you think of it?

I has a bigger version of this too.

So basically, I'll be needing your help mainly on custom diplomacy text, and music. If you have any similar input for the other countries I'm working on, feel free to work on them too. I probably won't have time for this during weekdays due to summer school -.-

Hmm, I don't think I'll even entirely rule out Chopin, even though you did use him for Austria, there's plenty more music by him to look through, I'll at least see if any of his polonaises or mazurkas sound suitable.

Hmm, is it okay if I start work on the Scandinavians? I'll probably use Vikings as a base for Denmark.

I didn't have plans to add them in for a while, but go ahead if you like :)

See if you can find a fan-made civilization mods on civfanatics, they have real nice stuff up there sometimes. Also, try to keep your work to 3 leaderheads at a time. Anymore and its sort of overwhelming.

I've been listening to some Chopin lately, and I think you should look at his Polonaise in A (Military Polonaise, Op 40 no. 1) for use for Poland's diplomacy music. It has a clear melody that is somewhat repetitive, making it good for Civ diplomacy music. And its a Polonaise! as in Poland!

its fan art from a China-centric doujin.

I took the liberty to practice my colouring skills on cs photoshop with it. Here's the link on dA:
