Don't be scared. New York is only as intimidating as you let it seem. It's just like any other city: lots of people, lots of jobs, lots of garbage, lots of gems (both jewelry-wise and unique places and things-wise), etc.

Plus, I'll be here and happy to show you around, give you hugs, let you sleep on my floor for a few days, etc.
