If you read this, if your eyes are passing over this right now, even if we don't speak often, please post a comment with a memory of you and me. It can be anything you want--good or bad. When you're finished, post this little paragraph on your blog and be surprised (or moritified) about what people remember about you.

Hello Athena,
I remember once we were waiting for a chautauqua meeting to start and I was sitting next to you and you were wearing a yellow skirt or dress and you were reading a book on Anne Bogart and you started to give me a brief but enlightening summary of "viewpoints." This is the first thing that came to mind.

Ha! Yes!
I had forgotten that!
:)

'Good to know we're still at it after all of these years (partying hard and caring for each other harder).

You'll always be my first onstage love. You had a 1940's dress and lines drawn down your calves. I had a rifle, a uniform, and a burning desire to get laid before I shipped across the Pacific to parts unknown. Together, we had poorly written lines that we repeated awkwardly for the benefit of a bunch of old hicks and our adoring parents.

The play: Wings over Tomales.
The time: Magical.

Awww... that was pretty awkward/embarrassing/magical, wasn't it?
Amazing how time sweetens memories.

Remember how we had to dance together? And how much we both hated it?
-However, I think that may have been when I first stopped hating you with a burning passion, so that's good.
