The Mother of Monsters (Scrapped)

Turns out I can't write Loki with coherent thoughts.

Warning: Mentions of shape-shifting for pregnancy/m-preg, mixing of comics and myth, angst

Summary: Even though Loki's title is officially 'Mother of Monsters' and officially his children are monsters it doesn't make their relationship any less of parent and child as everyone would like to think.

Waking up on second Sunday in May Loki could have killed every living creature he came in contact with, and he probably would have had he had any intentions of getting out of bed to do anything that day. For the past two weeks the would be king had been assaulted by Midguardian advertisements for something called Mother's day which upon a little research had proven to be the day Loki would have to deem the worst of all human ideas. It was of course a day to honor one's mother, something everyone should always do, but this day was special in the sense that one honored all mothers even they were dead, adoptive, or expecting; by the norns it was even custom to honor mothers of ones friends.

Of course, of course though Loki could see something about the day that most others could not and if one was not or unable to be a mother probably never would. This day was a day for mother's to reflect on their children as well, on how they've grown or how young they are, on how much they love them. And it's that thought that rips at Loki's patience and peace, that makes him want to lash out and hurt the world not only like he's been hurt but like his little ones have been hurt as well.

scrapped, incomplete, loki, mother's day, angst
