Sleep

I've been having some interesting thoughts on the subject of sleep, well at least I find them interesting. A few years ago I would have said that sleep was a waste of time. In high school I almost never slept, except as a result of burnout or the so called Yuppie flue. When I came to the university, however, I found that many people are actually ( Read more... )

I don't sleep because when I lie down I inevitably think about the fact that I will just be lying there, doing nothing for the next several hours, and the very thought makes me bored to distraction. Heck, I stay awake through Dr. Oberrieder's class. Why should regular sleeping hours be any exception?

See that happened to me last night. I decided I go to sleep and just wake up early and finish my paper, but then I was lying there and couldn't sleep, so I decided it was nuts to just waste the time. Come on you know it "Sleep is for the weak"

Yep I got it done, but just as I did my printer failed, so I think, "Well I can always use Jeff or Kellen's." And of course neither of their printers work, so it's off to Staples. Grrr.

I try to sleep often as I rarely seem to do the act justice. When I sleep I never wake up rested, in fact sometimes it seems more work to sleep than to work.

I am one of the people addicted to sleep but apparently I have Matt Jackson's problem of not feeling rested when I awake. It is a healthy addiction and damn useful when you get bored. Sleep IS for the week.

Haha, I know what you guys mean, sometimes it seems that you just can't sleep enough. Everyone's done the sleep for ten hours or so but still feel exhausted when they wake up. I'm also sure you've all had the three hours that felt like a month too. It's a strange subject, that it is.

So it's not goot to sleep during the "week"ends but okay to sleep during the "week"?

I have no idea where that "goot" came from...but replace that t with a d, and you're set.
